What I do with my sold leads!
First once the lead is sold I edit within the sales tab of the lead to indicate what date and for much the monthly premium was. I then move the sold lead into my sold folder. I have set up an auto response email that will be sent to the customer 11 months after the sold date. I have also set up an appointment in my calendar to call the customer. The intent here is to move, if necessary, the customer to a different plan with a different company that may better fit their needs and budget. Insurance companies change what they offer on a regular basis. It is important that we as their agent stay abreast of these changes and continually strive to satisfy their needs. We need to look at the customer as “a customer for life” not just a quick bang for the buck.
